Written and recorded by Jason Sweeney on Ngadjuri Country on an old Wertheim pump organ / harmonium found in a rented house on between December 2020 - January 2021. Post-produced on Kaurna Country, March 2021.

Liner notes:
"'Words Fail Me' is a title given by writer, photographer and researcher, Fiona Sprott, and her response to the larger collaborative 'Some Islands' research project by Joshua Nash exploring islands, and the forms they take beyond the obvious land masses girt by seas, specifically in a post-Covid-19 world. Here, we look at the personal experiences of islands we find ourselves living on during this global pandemic. 'Words cannot describe …' is a phrase that is oft heard by people living through what will be unique Covid-19 tragedies, because words have yet to catch up with, or create meaning through language and narrative from events that are frankly too new, too challenging, and too difficult to actually comprehend well enough to be described."

These compositions are made for the 'Some Islands' project in collaboration with Joshua Nash, Fiona Sprott and Jonathon Larsen. Follow progress at www.joshuanash.net
